Microsoft Licensing
As a Microsoft SPLA partner (Services Provider License Agreement), ServerCloud is able to license Microsoft products on a monthly basis to customers using our cloud infrastructure.
Microsoft SPLA is a licensing program designed for service providers and independent software vendors (ISVs) with a desire to offer hosting services to their own customers using Microsoft products.
Under the SPLA program, service providers and ISVs can license Microsoft products on a monthly basis and offer them as part of their hosted services. These include server products such as Windows Server and SQL Server, as well as desktop products like Office and Windows.
The SPLA program allows for a flexible, pay-as-you-go pricing model for the use of Microsoft products. This model is often an attractive option for customers who may have elastic scaling requirements, or those that prefer to avoid large upfront investments in software licenses.
